Augusta Opera Holiday Concert
The classy concert tradition continues!
Sunday, December 2, 2012, 4:00 pm at Reid Memorial Presbyterian Church in Augusta, GA. A reception will follow the performance.
- The Lyra Vivace Chamber Orchestra: opening the concert with their new rendition of J.S. Bach Sleeper’s Awake
- The Augusta Opera Chorus: featured in O Holy Night and selections by Handel and Britten
- Great Vocal Soloists Melissa Larkin, Diane Haslam, Jamison Walker and Isaac Holmes: selections include famous Duets from Lakme and the Pearlfishers, along with Ave Maria, and other traditional holiday songs

Recent Spring Concerts


Holiday Concert
The Lyra Vivace Chamber Orchestra will perform several (unconducted) instrumental works, in addition to accompanying the fabulous Augusta Children’s Chorale (under the direction of Linda Bradberry), in a lovely Holiday concert performance at the historic Church of the Most Holy Trinity.
