Ensembles Intermezzo are groups of musicians devoted to the performance of popular classics and contemporary standards, in addition to their creative settings of hymns, spirituals, film and Broadway music.
Duo Intermezzo personnel Pianist Kevin Pollock and Cellist Ruth Berry are often joined by oboist Kelly Odell to form Trio Intermezzo, and vocal artists to form Lyric Intermezzo. All three ensembles delight audiences with their engaging performances in both formal and informal concert settings throughout the Southeastern United States. They are often featured performers on regional concert series, worship services, meetings, and programs for retirement communities.
Every performance is uniquely programmed to share the experience of great music with people of all ages and cultures. The versatile performers of Ensembles Intermezzo are also the perfect small group for weddings, funerals, dinner or luncheon parties, and background music for receptions.
